The challenge
AI coding assistants can significantly increase developer productivity, but without knowledge of what they can be used for and how to use them, they’re often underutilised.
Despite having GitHub Copilot licences, our client’s developers hadn’t been trained in how to make the most of this AI tool – or the dos and don’ts associated with it.
As a result, many licences were going unused or underutilised, and the organisation risked missing out on the productivity gains Copilot could deliver at scale. The client needed a way to quickly and effectively equip thousands of developers to use the tool with confidence and purpose.
Our solution
We developed a short course in Copilot tailored to our client’s large developer team. Learners started with compulsory videos, which functioned as pre-requisites to ensure Copilot had been installed successfully. Afterwards, learners progressed to a hands-on lab where they explored how to make the most of Copilot, including the dos and don’ts of using it.
We also placed strong emphasis on the developer’s responsibility — helping learners understand when to trust Copilot’s suggestions, when to verify them, and how to maintain engineering rigour while working with AI tools.

Our blended learning solutions were delivered to over 5000 developers across several global locations and incorporated:
