Building Production-Grade Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) Systems
We developed an interactive learning environment to train engineering teams at a global organisation in RAG systems, ensuring comprehensive technical understanding.
Success Stories
Neueda partnered with a global financial services organisation to support the rollout of an internal governance framework for public-facing APIs. An engaging, expert-led learning experience helped teams clearly understand the approval process, their roles within it, and the purpose behind the framework.

To support the understanding and requirements of an internal governance framework for public facing APIs. The intention was to ensure product owners, engineers, project managers and other key staff understand the reasoning for the framework, the API approval process steps and each team’s roles and requirements within the process. The goal was to increase an understanding of the wider picture for each involved party, improve the quality of submissions to reduce frustration and create a more seamless use of the tools through a better understanding of what happens at each stage and why the requirements are needed.
Neueda worked with the client’s SMEs to understand their internally developed processes, and strategies, to understand what the key pain-points, areas of misunderstanding, and opportunities for learning could be maximised. We then designed and delivered two expert-led, 1-day workshops to a pilot group of individuals to road-test the material and gain feedback, before creating an online version. Each session was heavily gamified, with interactive quizzes in various formats and prizes at the end of each day to reward performance. This approach worked as intended to boost understanding and maximise engagement throughout the day. It also allowed us to test understanding of the delivered material and use this additional feedback to determine changes needed for further rollouts.
The session was delivered to two small groups of specially selected individuals covering a range of roles and departments, as an initial pilot. This was delivered as a hybrid course, with a mix of participants both in the room and online. By providing two instructors Neueda was able to ensure that both the in-person and virtual participants were able to be fully engaged throughout the day. There was a significant amount of time spent as part of each day faciliating discussions and for questions posed by participants which the client’s SMEs were able to respond to – this enabled individuals to get an audience with key internal experts to maximise their understanding and support for the client’s strategic goals.
What was particularly interesting to see was that each participant gained different beneficial outcomes from the sessions, based on their role, experience and knowledge. For example, one individual who was a relatively new hire at the client found the knowledge gained about the client’s processes and approaches to different elements particularly helpful. Another longer standing member of staff who was new to the topic matter found that the introductory material provided a great deal of clarity and enhanced understanding. In addition it enabled him to self identify potential solutions for some known upcoming challenges and empower him to engage with colleagues to further those discussions.
Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees highlighting the clarity, structure, and accessibility of the content, as well as the highly interactive and engaging delivery. The opportunity to engage directly with subject matter experts and the use of gamified quizzes were particularly well received, reinforcing understanding and driving strong engagement throughout the sessions.
